This past Saturday, we travelled to the southern Italian region of Puglia, where we learnt how to make the Pugliese classic recipes of Orecchiette alle Cime di Rapa (a tricky-to-make ear-shaped pasta with anchovies and turnip tops) and Tette delle Monache (a DELICIOUS light sponge filled with lemon-infused crema diplomatica).
So much fun - and boy was everyone happy to be able to eat their own delicious creations!
Join us again for the next edition of Cucinino on *** Saturday 22 February 2020 *** where we’ll be travelling to Campania and learning how to make Scialatielli allo Scoglio, a regional seafood pasta, and Sciu - or as Chef Gabriele would say - the precursor to the French Choux! 😉
