This wine list is composed of wines from small artisan growers who make wine with integrity and respect for the land. Their approach in the vineyard is sustainable, organic or biodynamic. The work is labor-intensive and by hand. Minimal intervention is the cornerstone of their wine-making philosophy. Fermentation tends to occur naturally with the indigenous yeast, and many of the wines have low or no sulfur dioxide added, and are not fined or filtered. My aim is to select wines with personality - wines that convey a sense of place and time. I hope that you find these wines, made by brave artisans, as compelling and thrilling as I do.
